Hospice and Palliative Nurse Association (HPNA) provides monthly teleconferences to support quality educational programming for the advancement of end-of-life nursing care for all levels of the nursing profession.
Teleconferences are a convenient way for healthcare professionals to participate in an educational activity and receive continuing education credits. HPNA’s teleconferences are developed based on current trends of clinical practice, new and innovative therapies, regulatory guidelines, evidence-based practices, and requests/suggestions from members. Our presenters have the knowledge, experience, and expertise in the subject matter and are committed to promote quality care to persons with life-limiting illnesses.

Professional Nurse Teleconference
For your convenience, the Professional Nurse teleconferences will be prerecorded and available as an e-learning opportunity.
This will allow flexibility for you to access, listen, complete the test, and print your contact hour certificate at your convenience.

The Professional Nurse teleconference target audience- advanced practice nurses, generalist nurses, licensed practical/vocational nurses.
The purpose of the professional nurse teleconference is to present a specific topic related to hospice and palliative nursing. The focus may be clinically related to care approaches for the patient and their family, practice related for the healthcare provider, or information related to professional issues.
· Fee includes one contact hour. $20 HPNA member / $30 non-member (to receive member pricing, you must access E-Learning through the Members Only page of the HPNA website)
Nursing Assistant Teleconference
Target audience - nursing assistants
The purpose of the nursing assistant teleconference is to present practical information specifically related to patient care, support of the family, the nursing assistant role as a member of the interdisciplinary team, and other practice issues.
· 4th Wednesday of month, 3-3:30pm ET
· $40 per site

The Nursing Assistant teleconferences are available in an audio format after the teleconference is aired, for purchase in the Specialty Shoppe.
Each NA Collection, found under the MULTIMEDIA tab of our Specialty Shoppe, is a prepackaged product that includes CD-ROMs of previously aired teleconferences and lead articles of the HPNA Nursing Assistant newsletter for an entire year. The NA Collection is packaged in an embossed leatherette case.
